AA Melbourne Maintenance was founded by two Alexes with one shared belief: property owners shouldn’t have to choose between a contractor who is reliable and one who truly cares about the finish. We set out to be both.

Alexander Gavril — Maintenance & Facilities (13+ years)

Alexander has spent more than thirteen years on the tools and leading large-scale facilities programs. He oversaw maintenance, minor works, renovations and refurbishments across approximately 180 Westpac and Bank of Melbourne buildings throughout Victoria, where every job was measured against strict corporate standards, tight deadlines and around-the-clock response requirements.

He has also managed apartment buildings home to more than 1,000 residents, maintaining them to the highest standards, and has worked closely with strata and owners corporations across Melbourne, servicing their commercial and residential portfolios from everyday handyman work through to complete refurbishments.

That experience built the systems, accountability and work ethic that define how we operate: we turn up, we communicate, and we finish what we start.

Alex Ryasa — Painting & Decorative Finishes (20+ years)

Alex brings more than twenty years of high-end residential and commercial painting and leads a team of 15+ skilled painters and decorative artisans. His work features in some of Melbourne’s most exclusive homes, including award-winning residential projects.

Beyond flawless traditional painting, Alex’s team specialises in luxury decorative finishes: Venetian and polished plaster, marmorino and concrete-effect walls, high-gloss “wet look” lacquers, metallic paints, and genuine gold and silver leaf gilding. These are finishes that turn a wall into a feature and a home into a statement.

Together, the two Alexes combine the reliability of a corporate maintenance contractor with the artistry of a premium finishing studio, from fixing a door handle to a complete refurbishment.
